Region Safety Manager
Description
The
Territory Manager will focus on increasing monthly, quarterly and annual sales
volume, will develop relationships with new and existing customers within a
defined territory and will work closely with the Area Sales Director
to implement our strategic sales plans to meet the organizational goals.
Job Responsibilities:
- Will execute management sales strategies to achieve the
sales quota.
- Will provide in-servicing and evaluations building the
SMI business within a designated territory to meet SMI sales growth and
performance expectations.
- Will identify new sales opportunities and work with
inside sales team, distributors, customer service and marketing staff to
close business contracts.
- Will conduct in-service and
evaluation to attain sales growth.
- Will work
with distributors, report quality issues, solicit new ideas,
addresses complaints and resolves customers' issues by working with the
appropriate management group and/or technical resource.
- Will maintain regular verbal and in-person contact with
each customer in need of our product (hospital and key accounts).
- Will makes sales calls on all major hospitals with call
points including purchasing management, Chief Operating Nurse, Risk
Management, Human Resources, etc. to achieve the sales goals.
- Will educate and build a sense of loyalty and commitment
to our organization at multiple levels of the hospitals.
- Will have an entrepreneurial mind set to seek and
established new business, develop and retain existing accounts to
their fullest potential.
- Will maintain open communication with management, inside
sales team, distributors, and other territory managers.
Experience/Education Required:
B.A. in Marketing, Business or related discipline
Minimum of 2 + years of proven sales
and marketing experience.

and Abilities Required:
- Effective Communication Skills
- Able to deliver and demonstrate effective presentation
concepts in a clear manner to customer in a large group setting.
- Excellent negotiation and presentation skills.
- Skilled in sales planning and account management.
- Excellent organizational time management and
administration skills.
- Business analysis skills in order to identify sales
trends prioritize tasks and objectives and solve day-to-day problems.
- Experience selling direct including proven ability to
penetrate and develop new business and conduct high level presentation to
different management groups.
- This person must be a self-motivated individual to
achieve team and individual sales objectives.
- Willingness to drive and travel to short and/or long
distances as business dictates.
- Must have a good driving record and vehicle with
insurance.
